Scott Wolfe, Owner of
Compass Construction of the Carolinas, was in search of a relaxing venue to entertain and engage both prospects and clients.
He also needed a golf course and club capable of hosting his annual company outing. Wolfe, a frequent golfer at Cherokee Valley, happened to stop and ask owner Matt Jennings what options might be available.
“I was talking to Matt and he mentioned the new Business Flex Pass,” Wolfe says. “It fit our needs perfectly and is so easy to use.”
According to Jennings, the new Business Flex Pass is an innovative full-service entertainment, networking and team-building solution for companies of all sizes.
“Traditional, corporate memberships are outdated and don’t address the needs or budgets of a wide spectrum of businesses,” Jennings says. “Our casual and comfortable feel lets pass holders to escape the workplace and enjoy relationships built through great golf, food, beverage and entertainment.”
The Business Flex Pass is chock-full of base benefits including: two (foursome) tee times per month (golf cart and range balls included), 10% off golf shop merchandise and coming soon, a “Partners Tab” with hyperlink on the Cherokee Valley website.
The program also grants access to Cherokee Valley’s event center or event space on the driving range, a customized golf outing for up to 16 players (cart included), preferred rates for guests, food and beverage discounts and four North Greenville University sports passes to watch the Crusaders compete in a variety of competitive games and tournaments.
“I can send a client a round of golf for four players each month or take a team member out to play with me and a prospect,” Wolfe says. “We’re going to have our golf outing to recap the year and have a team building event that afternoon. It is all included.”
Both Jennings and Wolfe agree that no one knows what the new normal will look like once the U.S. in general and South Carolina specifically get on the other side of the novel Coronavirus. But one thing’s for sure: business will forge ahead and, in some cases, and some verticals, be even stronger than before.
“We want to help business in any way, shape or form possible so they, in turn, can help their customers and clients,” Jennings says. “The Business Flex Pass provides a number of tools for accomplishing this.”
Business Flex Passes retail for $2,500 (tax not included) with a one-year commitment.
Ideally located 30 minutes north of award-winning downtown Greenville and 45 minutes from the craft beer capital of Asheville, N.C. Cherokee Valley is the perfect basecamp for exploring the beauty and adventure of the western Carolinas.
This year, Cherokee Valley will open its full-service restaurant, CORE 450, featuring a contemporary, engaging and casual theme with a diverse menu ranging from small plates and pizza to five course meals. CORE 450 is led by Warden, who studied under James Beard award-winning chef Bob Kinkead.
